I had a vitrectomy/cataract op 2 days ago and my vision in that eye is really fuzzy. My other eye was operated on and right after the patch came off I could see well in that eye, but with this one everything is fuzzy, a lot worse than the other eye. How long did it take for you guys to see as good as it was gonna ge?

My dog is 12 years old and her eyes are looking pretty cloudy lately. It seems like she can see fine, but there’s not really any way to know. I’m thinking about asking the vet about cataract surgery and was just wondering how much it costs roughly.

My vision was sooooo great. Got glasses for reading a few months later. I was just wondering if anyone here had to have new glasses every two or five years after surgery.

Just temporarily, until such time as cataract surgery solves the problem.
“Ignoramus”, you seem to be saying it’s not possible to correct it with a lens, but only to disable it. Does that imply there is no such thing as a lens to correct double vision?
“Spectacle”, I get the impression you’re talking about correcting double vision of both eyes, by displacing the image in one eye to match the other. But the problem I’m talking about is double vision in one eye.
