I had the Lasik surgery a few months ago and yeah, my vision is fine and I don’t need to wear them for vision anymore but I want to wear color contacts once in a while. How long after the procedure can I wear them? I’ve heard from my doctor that if I wore contacts before the procedure I should be able to wear them again afterwards. My next appointment with him is in another 6 months so I’d like to know when I can wear them again from maybe people who’ve had experience with this.

Is it impossible to become a pilot if you have had LASIK? Why is PRK preferred over LASIK? Eye doctors and opthalmologists under you, can you give an answer to this? PRK has a longer recovery period, but still is it safer than LASIK, which seems to have a very fast recovery compared to LASIK? I am planning to do a LASIK or Laser Eye Surgery, does it has any disadvantages doing it? and what is the difference between Laser and LASIK, which is better and why, I am hesitating whether to do it or not, also I don’t know which one should I choose LASIK or Laser.

P.S. My vision is not so bad, it is something like 1.7 – 2 degrees deviation, am just sick wearing glasses.

so i have an astigmatism in my right eye, and my sight is jacked up in that one eye. i have a hard time with putting in contacts, idky, and i was wondering about lasik.
does anyone know how much it costs? and if getting the laser kind is some kind of hassel compared to getting the one were they cut your eye with a knife(which is never going to happen to my eye)? and isnt there something different if your dealing with an astigmatism?
