I think the restrictions against Lasik is only for pilots, which you wouldn’t be as an air force combat controller. I don’t know what PRK is, but you could probably complete the training wearing BCGs.
Yes for PRK, no for lasik(flap can come open). You will have to wait a year to start training. PRK is great, I had it done 5 months ago, went from 20/400 to 20/20 and still see like that this far into the recovery. Glasses in training, esp. CCT sux, get it done and wait the year and enlist and go for it. Use that year wait to PT and train your butt off, 90% dont make it bro, be the 10% that does.
